Solid timber flooring
The original and to many the unbeatable. Solid timber comes in a wide range of species, most common being Spotted gum, Blackbutt, Tasmanian Oak and American Oak. It is installed with adhesive and secret nailed, coming in a wide variety of widths & thickness.
Once installed the flooring has to be sanded and polished, doubling up on the labour of pre-finished flooring, but it can last a life time, with more then a few re-sands being possible over the time that it will be install.

Hybrid flooring
Hybrid flooring is the new generation of flooring, consisting of a composite limestone core, with a top layered vinyl wrapping, and built in underlay, hybrid flooring is a complete imitation of solid timber, at the fraction of the cost.
It is extremely durable and waterproof, making it extremely functional, and although it lacks the authentic variation of real timber, the designs and colours provided enough of a optical illusion that it can be deceiving.
